Access to the EPMA facility is possible for internal and external users. The Microprobe Lab is part of a national consortium between Utrecht University, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and Naturalis. Researchers from these institutions are eligible for the internal rate*. For other academic researchers, we charge the external rate*. Commercial projects are possible upon request.

There are three options to apply for access to our EPMA facility:

• Through a national funding scheme: EPOS-NL (costs covered)
• Through an international funding scheme: EXCITE (costs covered)
• Using project funds*: reach out to us
